Urban Literature EQ's

"EQ's" are the essential questions that need be discussed before delving into any subject. You will be answering the following EQ's as a group. This is simply to gain exposure into what we will be getting into.

1. What subject material and topics are generally covered in the sub genre "Urban Literature"?
2. Why is that subject matter one of importance?
3. Who is generally the audience for this particular genre? How can you tell?
4. Generally, who are the protagonists and antagonists in the sub genre "Urban Literature"?
5. Why is this sub genre generally considered "gritty" and why might this not be a genre for some people?
6. Why do some people gravitate towards Urban Literature?
7. How might Urban Literature be written differently than other "survivalist" literature?
